dedicated to poetry and art
Welcome on my site. I am presenting you my fields of interest and activities.
Please scroll down to see the list of publications and examples of my poems and haibun

Sculpturing and Design
I learned to sculpture with Prof. Kranz, Art Academy Berlin, and Jan Bormann, a famous artist from my hometown. Working with stone, metal, timber and other material gives great satisfaction. I also had the opportunity to attend a training on bronze casting.

Paintings
My style is surrealism and I am using oil colours. I had several exhibitions in Germany and Ireland.

Workshops
I share the knowledge of Japanese and Chinese poetry, gained over several years, with people interested in this special Asian art.
I held Haiga courses for people with special needs. The haiga project fostered their talents and supported their creativity.

TRANSLATIONS
of poetry, haibun, haiku, tanka, short stories from and to German, English, French and Spanish

HEINRICH BÖLL QUOTES
German writer (1917-1985)
Behind every word a whole world is hidden that must be imagined. Actually, every word has a great burden of memories, not only just of one person but of all mankind. Take a word such as bread, or war; take a word such as chair, or bed or Heaven. Behind every word is a whole world. I'm afraid that most people use words as something to throw away without sensing the burden that lies in a word.
